Back to March 27 News

Two local elementary school students could use a little help to gain some recognition. The pair are two of 28 finalists selected in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's School Art Program.

The duo are competing with 26 others in an online competition for prizes.
A painting titled "Pueblos in the Snow" was created by Huntsville Elementary student Genna Christy. A sculpture called "Texas Tennor" was created by Stewart Elementary student Cameron James. The artist of the pieces with the most votes by April 11 will receive prizes for their school and district. If you would like to help out the two kids...head over to Reliant Power Zone.
