The Education degree is offered at the main campus in Huntsville and many classes are offered at The Woodlands Center.

MAJOR IN EDUCATION EC - 6

Students interested in teaching Early Childhood – 6th grade will major in Education and be certified in one of the following:

MAJOR IN EDUCATION GRADES 4 - 8

Students interested in teaching grades 4 - 8 will major in Education and be certified in the preferred teaching field;

MAJOR IN EDUCATION PK - 3

Students interested in teaching Pre-K to grade 3 will major in Education and be certified in PK-3 ;

MAJOR IN EDUCATION EARLY CHILDHOOD

BS MAJORS WITH TEACHER CERTIFICATION

Students interested in teaching one of the following sciences will major in the preferred teaching field;

BFA MAJORS WITH TEACHER CERTIFICATION

Students who plan to teach one of the fine art subjects listed below will major in the preferred teaching field;

BM MAJORS WITH TEACHER CERTIFICATION

Students who plan to teach one of the following music areas will major in the preferred teaching field;

DOUBLE MAJORS

Students interested in teaching grades 7-12 will double major in Education and their preferred subject (content area);

MAJOR WITH MINOR

Students interested in teaching will major in Education and can add a minor in;

All students are required to participate in field experiences in public schools.
